I know I'll take some flak from the Jeep guys for this, but..

I never cared for that grille. My 79 had the "pig nose" which looked good painted black, my 81 and 83 both had the "muscle" grille.

They fit the year and paint combos of the truck. The "Rhino" grille only appeals to me on early Waggys.

All in all nice rig, crap parker..

I kinda like the pig nose, but I certainly see what you mean. It does give the front a somewhat garish look.
